Today the coalition government won the vote in parliament to increase tuition fees to a maximum of £9000.
The Wells Lib Dem MP Tessa Munt abstained according to the Guardian newspaper http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2010/dec/09/tuition-fees-vote-how-mps-voted?intcmp=239
Nick Clegg voted in favour of the increase.
So much for a pledge!
